ACVCA: Awards and more awards won in 2018

It is impossible to count on the fingers of one’s hands the awards won by the winery, either nationally or internationally

Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was present at the 22nd Grand International Wine Awards, MundusVini 2018 competition, where the Vidigueira Grande Escolha Branco 2016 won a Gold Medal.

At the 14th CINVE 2018, the Vidigueira Alicante Bouschet 2015 received a Gold Medal, and the Vidigueira Antão Vaz, the Vidigueira Grande Escolha 2016 and the Vidigueira Syrah 2015, received Silver Medals.

At the 16th Bacchus International Wine Competition 2018, the Vidigueira Antão Vaz and Vidigueira Syrah, received a Bronze Medal.

In national events, Adega participated in the Wine Masters Challenge 2018, in Estoril, where it won nine medals. The Gold Medal was awarded to Vidigueira Signature Red 2016, Silver Medals were awarded to Vidigueira Grande Escolha Branco 2016, Vidigueira Perrum 2016, Vidigueira Reserva Branco 2013, Vidigueira Antão Vaz 2017, Contemporal Reserva Tinto 2016, Vidigueira Reserva Tinto 2015, Vidigueira Grande Escolha Tinto 2015, Vidigueira Syrah 2015 and Vidigueira Alicante Bouschet 2015.

In the Golden Grape contest, held at the Altis Belém Hotel, the Adega, was distinguished with the Best Wines of the Region award, with the wines Vidigueira Premium White, Vila Ruiva White, Vila Ruiva Premium White, Contemporal Reserva Red.

At the ViniPax event, the Vidigueira Grande Escolha 2016 was ranked 1st, and at the Grandes Escolhas event, the Vidigueira 1498- Grande Reserva was awarded a Gold Medal.

In the VI Best Wines of Alentejo 2018 competition, Adega, received the Award of Excellence and a Gold Medal with the Vidigueira Grande Escolha Branco 2016.
