The Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP is a superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives, only by mechanical processes, in conditions that do not alter the aroma or taste. It is a premium olive oil extracted from fresh and healthy olives, carefully selected. It is a product with genuine and typical, a quality product par excellence.
Varieties of Olive Used:
– Galega Vulgar: minimum 60%.
– Cordovil de Serpa and/or Cobrançosa: maximum 40%.
– Other varieties: maximum 5%.
– Forbidden Varieties: Picual and Maçanilha.
Colour – Golden Yellow or Greenish Yellow.
Storage Conditions – Must be kept away from light and heat.
Durability Date – Maximum 18 months, after extraction date.
