Vidigueira Syrah Solidary

One of the objectives of the Cooperative Winery of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito is also to enhance, disseminate, and actively participate in actions of social responsibility, thus inserting itself in the regional dynamics, particularly in the three counties to which it is linked.
The Syrah Solidarity Project, is a partnership with the three Volunteer Fire Departments (Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito), where every time a bottle of Vidigueira Syrah is sold, part of that amount reverts to these Fire Departments.
We chose the Syrah, for being a wine that stands out for its uniqueness of monocaste, and for being a worldwide recognized grape variety. The ACVCA’s Syrah has an active consumer demand, and is among the most medaled and sought-after wines by visitors.
